Coming into this, we were extremely nervous, and while it had its moments of adversity and challenges, you both were unbelievably responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Your approach to building the home and your interactions with us during the process significantly eased our anxiety. We had heard stories about contractors not returning calls and being completely unresponsive. To say you guys were the complete opposite would be an understatement. There were times when, after not having talked in a few days, you guys would actually call or reach out simply to touch base because it had been a while since we last communicated. What contractor does that?! Throughout the entire building process, you kept us updated, made changes that benefited us, and when unexpected issues arose, you kept the process moving efficiently. To us, it seemed as though it was effortless because of how smooth the construction process went (although we're sure it wasn't, but it seemed like that on our end). On countless occasions, our neighbors commented on how professional your team was and how efficient you all worked. It seemed like there was someone at the house every single day completing the next task. Given that, even though it was only an estimated date of completion, you all completed the project in the exact time estimated - to the day if we're not mistaken. And for that, we cannot thank you enough.

If you are looking to build a home in or around the Morgantown area Lake Shore Homes should be your first consideration. Everyone hears horror stories of house builds, but I can honestly say the entire process was smooth, any issues we ran into were taken care of 100% in a professional manner, and the level of courtesy and pro-activeness are top notch. Lake Shore went the extra mile from start to end to ensure we were 100% satisfied. Lake Shore is also very efficient. They were able to provide us a full detailed proposal within a week of our first conversation (we already had the plans drawn out). Lake Shore is very upfront and transparent. They do not hide any costs so we new exactly what was expected. This is our second home build, and that was not the case the first time we built (with another builder). If you are looking for a quality built custom home with builders that will be with you every step of the way, Lake Shore Homes has to be given an opportunity.
